Our belt in nature is a tool. This helps us to better achieve certain asanas (yoga positions). Aids, such as our belt, can help us to practice a position in a position that is not harmful to our health. Often, however, yoga students get in the way of their own ego. Thereby it is not at all shameful to resort to aids. They are used in Ashtanga as well as in BKS Iyengar's method of yoga. It is due to both of them that aids are used at all.
