This aid splits + backbends can also be used for arm balances, among other things. Aids, which are also called props, help us to better achieve certain asanas (yoga positions). This allows us to practice challenging positions in a healthy way without harm.
At the same time, it is not at all shameful to resort to props. On the one hand, in Ashtanga as well as in BKS Iyengar's yoga method and also in Yin Yoga, props are used. It is due to these two that props are used at all. In the end, they did the pioneering work.

By the way, it's best to attach your splits + backbends tool above a door. If necessary, depending on your ceiling height is also possible on the ceiling. We recommend, however, to measure this in advance. However, as a general rule, we advise a distance of about 2 m.
Since each wall has a different texture, the mounting kit is not included in the scope. You will need a dowel, where best "opens" in the wall. That is, widens. In it then comes, for example, a metal rake with a ring and you then attach our aid for splits directly to it.
Otherwise, you can also attach a carabiner with sufficient load capacity to the metal rakes and then our strap. However, this is dependent on the conditions at your site especially, to be sure, we would recommend that you take at least your double body weight as a basis for the load capacity.
