Our producer has the globally recognized seal of approval "GOTS". This stands for organic textiles, which were grown sustainably. Moreover, also sustainably processed and shipped. In addition, fair working conditions are guaranteed. By the way, our organic cotton mat is available in blue and gray-brown.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is considered the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers. In concrete terms, this means that the high environmental criteria along the entire supply chain of organic textiles and their compliance with social criteria are defined and verified.

Moreover, organic cotton is grown without harmful chemicals. Thus, the soil, air and water are free from harmful contaminants. In addition, one of the significant differences is that organic cotton produces about 46% less CO2e compared to conventional cotton. It also uses much less water to grow. Since organic cotton producers usually use rain much more than artificial irrigation.

Certification criteria of working conditions for GOTS - these include ensuring:

Employment is freely chosen (no forced labor).
The working conditions are safe and hygienic.
Child labor must not be used.
The amount of the wage payment secures the existence.
The working hours are not excessive.
No discrimination is practiced.
Harsh or inhumane treatment is prohibited.
